Cafe Sydney is located on top of the customs house at Circular Quay is has amazing views out over the harbour. It gets quite busy so if you want a seat out on the terrace to get an unobstructed view book in advance. As I look through my photos I realise I don’t have any pics of the view! No idea why I dint take any… Upon arrival at the time of booking we are told the table is not ready but you can have some drinks at the bar while you wait (feels like restaurants always say this to get more money put of people) anyway wasn’t too long and the table was ready.
The Moreton Bay Bugs are a nice start to the meal their light tasting flesh with a bit of lemon is beautiful. I am told by the waiter that the chef preference is for pork to be rare, not something I have had before so I thought I would try it. Turned out to be a good choice the meat was very juicy and full of flavour, it didn’t taste rare only the pink colour gave it away. Desert platter is a selection of 4 different deserts from there menu all of them were really nice, it’s a good choice for a group that doesn’t mind to share.
Amazing views , good food bit expensive but they do have an entertainment card discount of 25%.
